Mark “Willy” Pickhardt, MD

Dr. Pickhardt is a Fayetteville native and is excited to join the Highlands team as our first Urologist. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from the University of Arkansas, finishing summa cum laude, and received his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he graduated first in his class. He then went on to complete his Urology Residency at Indiana/Purdue University in Indianapolis where he also completed a general surgery internship.

He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (AOA), which allows entry only by the top 5% of physicians.

Dr. Pickhardt is extensively trained in minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgery, open surgery, and endourology. He is currently seeing patients for any issue pertaining to Urology or the adrenals. He does have a special focus on Urologic oncology (prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular and penile cancers).

He and his wife, Katie, enjoy spending time with their two lovely dogs, Fynn and Bodie. Any other spare time he spends running with occasional cycling and swimming. He has previously competed in multiple Ironmans, marathons, and triathlons across the world.
